Why you Need to Banish Anxiety!

Life can be pretty wild sometimes, right? We’ve all got a bunch of questions buzzing around in our heads: What am I going to eat today? Will I ever find my happily ever after? What does the future hold? Where will the next war take place? Will inflation go away? Why do bad things happen to good people? Why is there so much confusion about gender? Are the next elections the solution we’ve been waiting for? Will I make my parents proud? Will I catch up with my peers?  Questions, and many more questions echo the common worries that plague our minds amidst the hustle and bustle of modern life, leaving little room for peace. It can get overwhelming, trust me, I know. But I stumbled upon some wisdom from the scriptures that might help us make sense of it all.

1. Life’s About More Than Just Stuff (Matthew 6:25)
Ever stop and think about what really matters? Sure, food and clothes are important, but there’s more to life than that. It’s about finding what truly makes us joyful, fulfilled, and at peace.

2. Trust That Things Will Work Out (Matthew 6:26)
You ever seen a bird stressing about where its next meal will come from? Nope! They just go with the flow, knowing that everything will be okay. We’re even more important to the almighty God, so why stress?

3. Worrying Doesn’t Get Us Anywhere (Matthew 6:27)
Think worrying will add more hours to your day? Nope, it just gives you gray hairs! Instead of stressing, why not focus on things we can change?

4. Look Around, Nature’s Got Some Lessons (Matthew 6:28)
Take a moment to appreciate the beauty around us. Even the flowers don’t worry about a thing! There’s a lot to learn from nature if we just stop and pay attention.

5. You’re More Important Than You Think (Matthew 6:29)
Even the richest guy around couldn’t dress as snazzy as a lily. It shows that we’re taken care of, no matter what. So why stress?

6. Have a Little Faith (Matthew 6:30)
Sometimes we forget about all the times things worked out in the past. Let’s have a little faith that things will keep getting better.

7. Focus on the Good Stuff (Matthew 6:31)
Instead of always worrying about what we don’t have, why not focus on the good stuff? It’s like they say, “Think positive thoughts!”

8. God’s Got Our Back (Matthew 6:32)
God knows what we need, even before we do. So, let’s focus on what really matters and trust that we’ll be taken care of.

9. Put First Things First (Matthew 6:33)
Ever chase after something only to realize it’s not what you really wanted? Let’s focus on what truly matters first, and the rest will fall into place.

10. Take Life One Day at a Time (Matthew 6:34)
Tomorrow’s got enough going on without us stressing about it today. Let’s take each day as it comes and deal with tomorrow when it gets here.

So, next time you’re feeling overwhelmed, remember these tips. Life’s too short to spend it worrying all the time. Let’s count our blessings, keep smiling, and tackle whatever comes our way!

Count it all joy! Smile! Be Happy!
